Here's the start of an FAQ!
Some questions that I see asked rather often! super duper WIP, I'm just writing down what came to my head as I typed and what I see in the future! Feedback is very welcome :3
(Some sections are minimized by default for spoilers, click the header to show the section.)
Also i really really hate fandom wiki so i'll be trying to link to one of the wiki mirrors along with any links to the wiki :') Please at least install ad-block if you're using that site.
The beginning:
There is unfortunately no way to cheese money like there is in some other farming games like Rune Factory 5. :(
Dishes do NOT sell for more than crops, so don't cook things before selling them.
- Explore your farm thouroughly and activate all of the monolites for easily getting to gathering spots each day. There’s 2 near the fields right after you leave your house, 2 at the Hilltop, 2 at the Waterside Biome, and 4 in the southern area near the Old Well monolite.
- Get the Kitchen expansion ASAP, the Wild Leafs and Little Mushrooms you can get from gathering spots on your farm can be made into Stir Fry, which is a great and easy to get healer and stamina booster through the game, especially the beginning.
- Try to stick to berry juice rather than veggie juice early game, since you can get berries for free. It heals only 100hp less which is fine earlier on.
- Juice doesn't fill up your belly any, so you can use it to heal as much as you need. It also doesn't cause you to pause to eat it, which is great in boss battles.
- Fish aren't huge money makers like in some games, but if you have some extra stamina at the end of the day it's worth it to fish a bit at the farm.
- The time limit before you faint is actually 2am, but the game switches to "Early Hours" on the clock after midnight. If you faint inside of your house you won't get charged anything, so feel free to pass out on the floor as often as you'd like!
- There is nothing missable in the entire game, so don't worry about getting locked out of anything permanently.
This heavily depends on where you are in the game, as in later game sections you can make more money via processing crops than selling them plain. For crops on the base farm with no processors, the best are:
Spring: Cucumble, Strawbuddy, Tingle RadishSummer: Seatide Garlic, Morrocorn
Autumn: Lantern Pumpkin, Royal Eggplant, Morrocorn
Winter: Chilly Plant, Argene Cabbage
Note that the crops in italics can be harvested multiple times, so if you can't harvest the full length, they aren't as profitable or may not be worth planting at all.
Also, remember to always buy crops from the town that match their season (Spring - Nemea, Summer - Shatolla, Authmn - Lethe, Winter - Argene). Even though Lethe stocks some for each season, they're cheaper if you buy them from the other towns.
You can view the growth time and profit per crop on the wiki here (mirror)
Sidequests! Once you hit chapter 3 a bunch of side quests become available. They can be a little lengthy, but you usually can get a couple thousand grilla plus some free seeds for each quest.
There are also dish delivery quests in each town, which can give some decent money for each item delivered.
That's completely fine! Literally everything in the storyline can just wait if you want, barring a couple of really short sections that you'll lose party members for less than an in-game day's worth of time.
:) Don't worry about the children that are kidnapped by thieves or the meteor that's about to hit the earth in two days or the monster that's currently eating your friend, they'll be fine while you harvest some carrops! (note that my silly examples don't happen in the game I just picked some dramatic sounding jrpg-like events, no spoilers here)
Complete chapter 3-C
You cannot move trees, but you can remove them permanently by using the hammer.
Nope! Even while they're still saplings, they'll be fine through quietus.
You can also plant them out of season, they'll only start to produce fruit once it becomes the correct season for it though.
You can use the hammer on these to return them into your inventory, unharmed! You have to hit them 3 times.

Major super duper thank you to everyone who has worked on the wiki, datamined the game, or given out advice on the r/harvestella discord server! That's where most of this information came from, and I'll add credits to any charts or links that I provide on this page. A lot of people have done a lot of cool things for this game!
